i love that trent is the one who finds out first about colin’s boyfriend. especially since his arc in this season kind of started out with his apology to roy. and even before that the very reason he’s at richmond now was because he revealed his source to ted. he’s on a path to right past wrongs and to really care about the people behind the story™. it seems like a great opportunity for him to take this a step further and have him be the one who not only doesn’t exploit someone for his writing but who actively acts to protect a young player from the press instead
